Deputy Group Leader - Various Locations

Deputy Group Leader - Birmingham & Solihull, Gloucestershire

We are looking for a Deputy Group Leader to take the lead on group activities and delegate tasks and roles within the group accordingly, when the Group Leader is not available.

Volunteers play an important role in the MND Association. They help to ensure that people with MND and their families receive the support and services they need.

Role Description

What does this role involve?

  • To chair group meetings in the absence of the Group Leader
  • To report any meeting outcomes back to the Group Leader
  • To assist the Group Leader in planning and co-ordinating group activities
  • To deputise for the Group Leader at events and other meetings
  • To take responsibility for projects delegated by the Group Leader

 

 

Ideal Skills

You don’t need personal experience of MND but will have good leadership skills and experience or chairing meetings.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and get involved with your local community.

 

Other information

Ideally we are looking for someone who can commit to approximately 2-3 hours a week including willingness to attend regular committee meetings

Full training and induction will be provided and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
