Volunteer Fundraiser - Colchester Group

Could you be one of our Volunteer Fundraisers? We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to help us raise funds and awareness within their local communities. (This is a voluntary role)

What's involved

To raise funds for the branch or group by initiating and supporting local fundraising activities.
To organise a variety of fundraising events on behalf of the branch or group
To encourage local organisations and companies to fundraise on behalf of the Association

This role will suit me if I:

Have good communication and interpersonal skills
Have the ability to recognise the potential opportunities for funding
Am able to act in an impartial way

How flexible is the role?

The role is very flexible and depending on events undertaken the average volunteering per month would be approx 2-4 hours.

What sort of training/induction will I receive before starting?

You’ll be inducted into the role and informed about the Association. As part of this, you will receive e-learning, face-to-face training and mentoring. The training programme may also include experiential and reflective learning.
