What you’ll do:

  • Come up with fun, engaging ways to bring people together

  • Help plan and run community events, from garden parties to support sessions

  • Work alongside a friendly volunteer team and branch chairs

  • Share your ideas and energy to help make every event matter

What you’ll gain:

  • Real experience in event planning, teamwork, and community building

  • A chance to grow your confidence, creativity, and leadership skills

  • An opportunity to support a cause that truly makes a difference

  • The feel-good factor of knowing you’re helping people feel seen and supported

No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm, reliability, and a big heart.

The MND Association was founded in 1979. Our mission is to improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. We also fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments and brings us closer to a cure for MND. The Association also campaigns and raises awareness so the needs of people with MND, and everyone who cares for them, are recognised, and addressed by wider society.

“Whether you want to get involved in caring, fundraising, awareness raising or campaigning, you won’t fail to be uplifted by this community. And you will soon find yourself making a difference, even if it’s just in small steps. Every step is pushing us towards better care and the ultimate goal, a cure.” David, volunteer
