What’s involved?
o Plan, prepare for and facilitate group meetings
o Ensure appropriate decisions are made in a timely way when required
o Support group volunteers in planning and coordinating group activities
o Ensure group volunteers are aware of and follow the Association’s policies and procedures
o Work in partnership with staff to recruit new volunteers and induct and mentor new volunteers
o Act as an ambassador for the Association and as a host at group events

This role will suit me if I:
o Have leadership skills, facilitation skills and experience of
running meetings
o Have good communication and interpersonal skills
o Am able to act in an impartial way
o Am able to delegate work

What sort of training/induction will I receive before starting?
You’ll be inducted into the role and informed about the Association. As part of this, you will receive e-learning,
face-to-face training and mentoring. The training programme will also include experiential and reflective learning
