Fundraising Co-ordinator Dorset (Volunteer)
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to co-ordinate fundraising volunteers and, where required, provide support to people organising events or carrying out fundraising activities for the branch within our area (all BH postcodes).
The East Dorset and New Forest Branch is a long established and active branch operating in the BH postcodes which includes Ringwood, Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole.
What’s involved?
- To be the key contact for everyone undertaking fundraising activities on behalf of the branch
- To keep the branch committee up to date with fundraising activities and provide information that can be shared via social media and branch emails
- To organise events and attend them where appropriate
- To meet with other volunteers to discuss and plan for future events
- To follow MND Association policies and guidance on data protection, health and safety, confidentiality and safeguarding
- To will have the support of our Regional Fundraiser as well as volunteers from the branch
This role will suit me if I:
- Have good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Am reliable
- Encourage and support others
- Have event planning experience or want to gain experience in this area
