Black Country Social Media and Webpage Coordinator (Volunteer role)
We are looking for a volunteer Social Media and Webpage Coordinator to manage the Black Country Group's social media and webpages
What’s involved?
- Keep the group’s social media channels updated
- Plan and schedule social media content
- Researching, creating and uploading relevant contents e.g. videos, photos
- Identifying key influencers and organisations to interact with on social media
- Replying to comments and messages
- Manage and maintain the group’s webpage hosted on the MND Association’s website
- Ensure content is in keeping with the Association’s mission and values
This role will suit me if I:
- Have some experience of social media
- Can write clearly, accurately and succinctly
- Am creative and can come up with fresh ideas
- Have enthusiasm to grow the group online presence

How flexible is the role?
The Social Media and Webpage Coordinator will spend a few hours every couple of weeks updating social media channels and maintaining the webpage. Attend occasional group planning meetings and events.
What sort of training/induction will I receive before starting?
You’ll be inducted into the role and informed about the Association. As part of this, you will receive e-learning, face-to-face training and mentoring.
