Black Country Social Media and Webpage Coordinator (Volunteer role)

We are looking for a volunteer Social Media and Webpage Coordinator to manage the Black Country Group's social media and webpages

What’s involved?

  • Keep the group’s social media channels updated
  • Plan and schedule social media content
  • Researching, creating and uploading relevant contents e.g. videos, photos
  • Identifying key influencers and organisations to interact with on social media
  • Replying to comments and messages
  • Manage and maintain the group’s webpage hosted on the MND Association’s website
  • Ensure content is in keeping with the Association’s mission and values

This role will suit me if I:

  • Have some experience of social media
  • Can write clearly, accurately and succinctly
  • Am creative and can come up with fresh ideas
  • Have enthusiasm to grow the group online presence

How flexible is the role?

The Social Media and Webpage Coordinator will spend a few hours every couple of weeks updating social media channels and maintaining the webpage. Attend occasional group planning meetings and events.

What sort of training/induction will I receive before starting?

You’ll be inducted into the role and informed about the Association. As part of this, you will receive e-learning, face-to-face training and mentoring.
