In this volunteer role you will work directly with individuals living with MND and/or individuals affected by MND, such as carers and family members.
You'll build great relationships through active listening, through providing information and through ongoing low level emotional support.
You may carry out your volunteering face to face in people's homes or at group meetings or you may support through digital means such as phone or email. We'll be guided by you on your preferences and availability.
What’s involved?
This role will suit me if I:

How flexible is the role?
The time required is largely flexible with some fixed dates throughout the year for training or development.
What sort of training/induction will I receive before starting?
You’ll be inducted into the role and informed about the Association. As part of this, you will receive e-learning, face-to-face training and mentoring. The training programme will also include experiential and reflective learning.
We encourage and welcome applications from all backgrounds and all communities
